First fully electric model under The Arc plan to launch in 2025
Nissan has revealed its all-new N7 electric sedan at the Guangzhou International Automobile Exhibition, marking a significant step in the company’s electrification journey. Set to go on sale in China in the first half of 2025, the N7 represents Nissan’s focus on advanced technology and locally developed solutions for the growing electric vehicle (EV) market.
The N7 is the first car built on Dongfeng Nissan's modular architecture, created exclusively for electrified vehicles. This platform allows for better integration of advanced technologies, providing drivers with a smooth and intelligent driving experience. Developed and manufactured in China, the N7 showcases Nissan’s dedication to meeting the expectations of Chinese customers, offering high-quality design and innovation.
Previewed earlier as the ‘Nissan Epoch Concept,’ the N7 features Nissan’s recognizable V-Motion design, creating a sleek and futuristic look. With dimensions of 4,930 mm in length, 1,895 mm in width, and 1,487 mm in height, and a wheelbase of 2,915 mm, the N7 ensures a roomy and comfortable interior for passengers.
The cabin is equipped with advanced technology, including an infotainment system powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8295P processor. This setup provides fast and efficient connectivity, offering a seamless digital experience for users.
In collaboration with Momenta, a leading autonomous driving company, the N7 includes an advanced driver-assistance feature called ‘Navigate on Autopilot.’ This system enhances safety and convenience by offering semi-autonomous driving capabilities, especially for urban and highway scenarios.
The N7 is the first all-electric vehicle introduced under Nissan’s mid-term strategy, The Arc. The plan focuses on accelerating the development and export of new energy vehicles from China, reflecting Nissan's commitment to the transition toward sustainable mobility solutions.
With the N7, Dongfeng Nissan aims to strengthen its presence in the world’s largest EV market. By combining locally sourced intelligence and technology with Nissan’s global expertise, the company is set to deliver a vehicle that aligns with the expectations of modern consumers.
The N7’s official launch in the first half of 2025 will further cement Nissan’s position as a key player in the electric vehicle market, bringing innovation and reliability to Chinese drivers.
