2025 Volkswagen Tiguan Unveiled with New Look and Advanced Features

Volkswagen has revealed the 2025 Tiguan, offering a complete redesign that emphasizes bold looks, a refined interior, and enhanced driving features. Built on the new MQB evo platform, this third-generation Tiguan is tailored for North America, available exclusively as a two-row SUV.



The exterior showcases a more aggressive front with a higher nose, sleek headlights, and an illuminated LED logo option. Aerodynamic improvements, like a roof spoiler and air curtains, help enhance efficiency, while new wheel sizes ranging from 17 to 20 inches give the vehicle a fresh, modern appearance. A selection of new colors, including Avocado Green Pearl and Monterey Blue Pearl, adds to its visual appeal.

Upgraded cabin with premium features

Inside, the 2025 Tiguan focuses on comfort and technology. The cabin is crafted with high-quality materials like American walnut wood and double-stitched accents. The gear selector has been relocated to the steering column, allowing for more space in the center console.





The SUV features an updated infotainment system, including a standard 10.25-inch Digital Cockpit Pro and a 12.9-inch touchscreen. Higher trims offer a 15-inch screen. Volkswagen’s new “Atmospheres” feature combines ambient lighting and sound profiles to customize the cabin’s ambiance. Additional comforts include wireless charging, three-zone climate control, and optional quilted leather seats with massage functions.

Enhanced power and efficiency

The 2025 Tiguan gets a power boost from a 2.0-liter turbocharged engine that delivers 201 horsepower, improving over the previous model. Thanks to weight reduction, the vehicle is expected to offer better fuel economy, though official EPA estimates are yet to be announced.

Advanced safety and assistance features

Volkswagen prioritizes safety with 10 airbags, including new driver knee and rear side airbags. Standard IQ.DRIVE Level 2 driver assistance includes Adaptive Cruise Control, Lane Assist, and Emergency Assist. Features like Exit Warning and Park Assist Plus are also available to make driving easier and safer.
