2025 BMW 2 Series Gran Coupe Launched with Powerful Engine and Advanced Tech

BMW has launched the 2025 version of its 2 Series Gran Coupe globally, featuring a revamped exterior, updated interior, and enhanced performance. Priced at $40,775 in the US, the new model offers more power and advanced features, aimed at improving the overall driving experience.

Updated design and features

The exterior of the 2025 BMW 2 Series Gran Coupe has undergone significant changes. It now sports a new front grille design similar to the BMW 1 Series, with updated headlamps and air intakes for a sharper appearance. The car is slightly longer and taller than before, riding on 18-inch wheels as standard, with 19-inch options available. At the rear, the sedan has sleek LED taillights and a unique design element near the Hofmeister kink.

Modern interior with new tech

Inside, the 2025 BMW 2 Series Gran Coupe features a curved display powered by BMW OS 9. Additional highlights include a wireless charger, a new gear selector, and a 12-speaker Harman Kardon audio system. The front seats, which are heated, now come with a massaging feature, and the cabin is finished with eco-friendly materials.

Engine performance and transmission

Under the hood, the 2025 BMW 2 Series Gran Coupe keeps its 2.0-liter turbocharged engine but with updated components. The 228 sDrive and xDrive variants deliver 237 bhp, while the M235 xDrive variant produces 307 bhp. Both models offer 400 Nm of torque. The previous seven-speed gearbox has been replaced with an eight-speed automatic transmission for smoother operation. The 228 xDrive can now reach 0-96 kmph in 5.8 seconds, while the M235 achieves the same in 4.7 seconds.

Improved suspension for better ride quality

BMW has introduced an M adaptive suspension as standard, with an option for a traditional setup. Adjustments to the suspension aim to improve both handling and comfort, offering a balanced driving experience.
